Cold brew coffee being poured into glass cup over ice

What’s it all about?

Even if you have not tried cold brew, you have certainly heard of it. Cold brew was technically invented in the 1600s, but another cold brew trend has been brewin’ over the years. Many people enjoy cold brew for its strength, caffeine content, taste, smoothness, or texture. At Split Rock Coffee, we have created the perfect blend of coffee to create the smoothest, tastiest cold brew yet!

We offer our Medium Roast Breakfast Blend in Filter Packages so that you can easily brew 3 cups of cold brew at home. Right now, our Filter Packs are offered in cases of 200, meaning you can make 600 cups of cold brew coffee by purchasing one case! Here’s how it works.

What you need:

Glass container (64 oz recommended)

Liquid measuring cup

3 cups purified water

1 Split Rock Coffee Filter Pack

Simply measure 3 cups of purified water and pour into the brewing glassware. Open your Split Rock Coffee Filter Pack and place into the water. Ensure that the Filter Pack is completely saturated before placing your container in the refrigerator to brew. We recommend about 12 hours of brewing, but you can take the Filter Pack out earlier for a weaker brew or leave it in longer for stronger cold brew! Add milk, cream, sugar, or other flavors to your drink and enjoy! You can also add ice to reduce the strength or make your brew colder for consumption.

Split Rock Coffee Cold Brew is designed to be silky smooth and low in acidity, making it very enjoyable to drink. While many people prefer to drink it black, some of our personal favorite flavor add-ons are raspberry, caramel, and peach.

Now that you have the ideal cold brew recipe, here are some ways to spice up your brew for the holidays! For these recipes, you will need cold brew concentrate, which is simply a stronger cold brew. Depending on your personal taste, add another filter pack or two to make your cold brew strong enough to mix in drinks.
